Overview of key health skills (NHES)

This video explores the National Health Education Standards.  The video was developed to support the Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool. For that reason they refer to curriculum analysis in the video. For our purposes we are focusing on the National Health Education Standards and the key skills that are identified in them. These skills are identified in the Colorado Academic Health Education Standards under the Academic Content and Connections subheading Health Skills. Key health skills have been identified for each grade level expectation PK-12. We will refer to the National Health Education Standards as health skills throughout this and other modules.
