Purpose: This coaching guide was created for instructional leaders to facilitate implementation of the assessment and intervention practices outlined in the Equipped for Reading Success online course as well as Dr. David Kilpatrick's book by the same title. The coaching guide can be used by an instructional coach or through peer coaching as part of a Professional Learning Community or as PD for grade-level teams.

This course is self paced and can be accessed and completed any time.

8-week self-paced course with 11 modules that provide resources
to support the writing process. It follows the book by Jill Jackson,
How to Teach Students to Write Informational Text. You will not
need the book to complete the course.

This course meets the special education licensure renewal requirement for 27 professional development hours.
