Hello Book Study Participants,

For our next book study meeting, we will be discussing Module 16. Please be prepared to discuss the following:

  • Discuss the information about dyslexia that was shared in this module and in the Dyslexia 101 FAQ document? Was any of this information new to you? What myths about dyslexia still exist in your setting?

  • Positive outcomes for struggling learners is dependent upon the implementation of a well functioning, school level multi tiered system of supports for all students. Take some time to explore the components outlined in the COMTSS School Fidelity Tool (we will do this during our meeting). You do not have to do a complete evaluation of your site but simply familiarize yourself with the tool and the components. What aspects do you see working in your school and where do you think your site needs improvement? How can this tool help your school team improve support systems for struggling students?
