7. Behavioral Guidance

PPRA Regulations and Best Practice: 

When a child’s behavior impedes his or her learning or that of other children, the child's team must consider the use of positive behavioral interventions and supports to address the behavior.

These behavioral interventions and supports, are uniquely designed for the individual student and may include a Functional Behavior Assessment and a Behavior Intervention Plan. They must be used proactively as determined by the IEP team.
