This crash course provides adult educators with a foundational understanding of the role of the instructor in distance education and remote facilitation strategies. Participants will learn the key principles of “involved instruction”, explore how those principles inform the role of the instructor in distance education, and understand effective strategies for facilitation from a distance. By the end of the course, educators will be equipped to test out these teaching strategies in their online courses in a thoughtful, strategic manner. Upon completion of this course, you will receive the Crash Course Adult Education: Distance Education Facilitation Certificate.
