Learner Objectives
This introductory course is tailored for designers who are new to digital accessibility and want to build inclusive design practices from the ground up. Participants will learn the foundational principles of accessibility, including why it matters, who it impacts, and how it fits into the overall user experience.
The training will cover key topics such as color contrast, readable typography, keyboard navigation, and designing with screen readers in mind. Designers will also explore real-world examples of accessible and inaccessible designs, and gain practical tips for incorporating accessibility into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. By the end of the course, designers will leave with a strong understanding of how to create visually compelling, user-friendly designs that are inclusive of all users.
