Educator Talent

Welcome to E-Train!

New state statute requires all evaluators complete training "to ensure that all evaluators have the skills necessary to observe and evaluate licensed personnel with fidelity." Senate Bill 22-070 established the requirement, including the training must be completed prior to renewing an existing license or obtaining a new principal or administrator license (22-9-104 (1.5)(c), 22-9-106(4)(a) C.R.S.) This training requirement is applicable to all evaluators of licensed educators (this means all evaluators of teachers, special services providers (SSPs), and principals/APs).

This Moodle course, created and housed by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), is an asynchronous training. This course satisfies Part I of CDE’s E-Train, with information for E-Train Part II provided upon completion of all four modules in Part I.
