This course is a follow-up to the presentation "Evidence Based Practice: Using Assessment to Inform Literacy Goals and Instruction for Learners who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing" offered by Dr. Connie Mayer and Dr. Beverly Trezek in Fall 2018. It has been designed to assist you in gathering the necessary assessment data that will later be used to develop instructional goals and select instructional strategies.
This course explores cultural and language variables that influence instruction and
family engagement for students who are deaf, hard of hearing or deafblind, who
come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
